Soodle Street is an eco-conscious illustration brand producing hand-collaged artworks made from 100% unwanted paper such as old magazines, junk mail and advertising. As a brand, Soodle Street offers original artwork, prints, cards and postcards depicting detailed illustrations inspired by architecture, memory and wanderlust.

Soodle Street is the creative platform of artist Caitlín Law. Originally from Hertfordshire, Caitlín now lives and works in Norwich, UK. With a First Class Joint Honours degree in Fine Art and Art History and a Masters in History of Art, Caitlín combines her creative collage practice with her interest in history, architecture and physical geography.

As well as collections of travel-inspired illustrations, Caitlín offers a bespoke service creating personalised architectural portraits. Working closely with clients, Caitlín produces one-off original artworks of homes, wedding venues and cherished favourite places. Caitlín enjoys reviving often overlooked, single-use material into new designs and loved artworks by recycling the colours, texture and patterns in unwanted printed material. Caitlín’s unique approach to illustration, her creative ethos and defined subject matter has grown Soodle Street as a brand with a reputation as the place to go for an exclusive capture of your favourite building.

Personalised house portraits are Soodle Street’s speciality, Caitlín’s clients take pleasure in seeing their home championed, with all its details and quirks admired and highlighted. Soodle Street’s clients include first time buyers, those relocating, nest-flyers or property collectors. A house portrait is not just a depiction of bricks and mortar, it’s a celebration of who lives there, who has looked after it, who has tended the front garden, which little cat sits in the window or whose bicycle leans up outside.
