Samantha Redfern is a British-born fine artist graduating from Bath spa University College in 2004 with a BA Hons in fine Art. Upon graduating she embarked on a career in sales before starting her family and beginning her freelance art career.
In 2015 Samantha and her family seized the opportunity to relocate to Singapore. Upon arrival one of her first priorities was to set up her business so she could continue to market and sell her artworks.
This was when she truly fell back in love with painting. She got her inspiration from the lush tropical environment and garden city of Singapore.
She signed to her first gallery shortly after and now works closely with several galleries and agents both in Asia and Europe.
Samantha’s work truly reflects her love of paint. She explores the medium using a range of techniques and colour palettes. She loves to work with colour to produce uplifting and joyful artwork.
She has happy collectors in Europe, UAE and Asia and has exhibited at The Affordable Art Fair, Bank Art Fair and Art Kaohsiung to name a few. 2020 had big plans for Samantha with many planned exhibitions including Art Basel in Miami. However, plans have now since been postponed. This hasn’t stopped her enthusiasm though and she continued to produce and sell work throughout lockdown.
Her work has been featured in Art/Edit, House and Garden and Aesthetica as well as online publications. Her cityscapes (inspired by Singapore) collection are available to view on both Artsy and Widewalls.
