Moo Like monkey is a children’s shop with an ethos that celebrates individualism, diversity and design, with a focus on sustainability. A place where you can always find something a little different from the mainstream kids’ market.

We stock products that are good for both kids and the planet. Everything we stock has ben carefully hand selected to be part of our curated offering of products.  Books clothes and toys and that don’t reinforce harmful stereotypes, they range from inclusive, handmade dolls and sustainable wooden toys to books that teach children about compassion and acceptance. We carefully chose the selection of organic clothes for a wardrobe as unique and individual as the kids that wear them.  Our books empower and represent all children, our toys entertain and the clothes we stock will suit any little individual.  We never stop searching for new beautiful things got our shop, things for children that you secretly want for yourself.

We opened the doors of our first shop 2018 when we had two children under the age of two, the first year was incredible, tough, crazy and empowering.  In 2019, the owner Charlotte  won the Kent Women in Business Award for Mumprenuner of the year. And in 2020 the shop has moved into a larger shop unit. It was voted in the top 25 small shops in the UK and has been featured in British Vogue magazine.

Running an online business and a shop which is open seven days a week and having two children under five isn’t easy, but it can be entertaining! They are definitely worth following on Instagram @moolikeamonkey
