Lowree Tynes Design

Growing up in the Bahamas in the 1980’s, Lowree watched the increase of development throughout the 700 islands. The history, art, culture and architectural influences left a lasting impression. In the 1990’s, Lowree relocated to Georgia for High School, this is where sparkles flew and she found great love for the arts. Later moving to Florida to study interior Design at Ringling College of Art & Design. Lowree Interned at one of the leading hospitality design firms in the world, Hirsh Bender in Atlanta. Later moving to Orlando to work at Nieman Contract Interiors.

After 8 years in the United States Lowree wanted to return home. Against the advice of friends and family, Lowree packed up years of her life and returned to the Bahamas. After a lengthy job search Lowree was employed by Baha Mar, to this day she still cherishes the experience working at Baha Mar along with the opportunity to work with world famous Hospitality Architect and Interior Designer, Dianna Wong. After all these years, the two are still friends and talk often about life and design.

Lowree has also worked at SMG, focusing on Millwork and residential design. Having this hands-on experience has definitely increased Lowree’s knowledge of design-build. Later Lowree joined the Roomers Limited team, where she got a great understanding for design business, budgeting, logistics and final installs. Lowree Tynes Design (LTD), launched in 2015. A Bahamas based Interior Design firm. LTD is a full-service interior design studio, offering services in Residential and Commercial designs
