The Natural Play Makeup Company has created the UK’s only natural play makeup kit, it’s chemical free, non-toxic with no nasties! It was founded by Kitty Auguste a mum of two who discovered all of the play makeup in the UK was full of nasty ingredients, she wanted to create a safer alternative so children could role play safely. 

They use simple formulations and subtle colours giving children the chance to have fun with colour and add a bit of natural sparkle. By keeping it simple they managed to eliminate all of the harsh ingredients you will find in regular play makeup. Their lipsticks are made with nourishing ingredients such as argan oil and shea butter and leave behind just a hint of colour.  All of their makeup has been manufactured in the UK giving customers peace of mind about what is going onto their little ones skin. 

The company is certainly not looking to promote children wearing play makeup in a grown up sense. It is about allowing little ones to enter into the world of play and imagination. Their makeup is very different to the pageant queen style play makeup you often see in high street stores. A great additional feature of the product is that their powders have the added bonus of turning into sparkly face paint if you mix with a drop of water. Making it one of the most natural face paints around!

The environment and their love for nature has a big influence on this company.  Aside from their ingredients being natural, their pots and tubes are eco friendly being made from recycled craft paper. They even plant a tree for every kit purchased and then email you a certificate to show you which country your tree has been planted in!
