Often when we talk about Sicily, we think of long sunny stretches of seaside vineyards. This is not the case at the Di Giovanna estate, an oasis of biodiversity inside Sicily's Nature Reserve of Monte Genuardo. Di Giovanna’s viticulture tradition dates back five generations. In the late 1980s, when the family vineyards were consolidated and replanted, the Di Giovanna family began their journey towards quality viticulture. Today, they cultivate their 56 hectares of vineyards and olive groves organically.
At the winery, located near the charming village of Sambuca di Sicilia, in western Sicily's Agrigento, mountainside vineyards surround the cellar with beautiful views of the valleys below. Private guided tours and tastings are offered by appointment. Visit their website to book a tour and tasting or shop a selection of exclusive organic wines & extra virgin olive oil.
