Aequum was founded in 2000 by Master Upholsterer and furniture designer, Edward Crowther.

The flagship design, The AUREUS massage couch, has featured in numerous high-end projects around the world from Dubai to New York.

An engraved brass plaque on the underside of each couch discreetly displays an individual number and provenance.
