St. George’s International School

Founded in 1927, St. George’s International School is a premium day and boarding school for boys and girls from 18 months to 18 years old, comprising over 60 nationalities. Located in Montreux, the school has magnificent views of the Alps and Lake Geneva. St. George’s International School has grown to become a well-recognised international school with small teaching groups and individual attention regarding academic programmes, career advice and a structured pastoral care.

A beautiful Swiss chalet stands in the campus providing a unique learning space for children from 18 months to 7 years old. While the Early Learning School (crèche) follows the Reggio-Emilia Inspired approach, the bilingual Junior School provides a learning experience which is designed to immerse children equally in both English and French.   With an international content, the bilingual Junior School programme leads seamlessly into the “Perspectives Globales” course in Middle School.

Middle and Senior school students follow the Pre-Diploma, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGSCE), the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the General Diploma programmes. Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Russian and Chinese can also be learnt and practiced daily.
