Wellness By Manuel promises to provide each customer with not just a candle, but an experience to improve wellbeing. Every candle is handmade with soy wax and pure essential oils, the inhalation of the aromas will give a ‘treatment-like’ effect.

The idea came about following the coronavirus pandemic. Wellness By Manuel wanted to create a brand that had an impact on mental wellbeing, as the majority of us were stuck inside and couldn’t use our normal coping strategies for mental health. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries to ease stress, treat anxiety and depression. They have a positive impact on wellbeing, making this an ideal solution for those struggling with lockdown.

The handcrafted candles were launched in December, 2020. The first collection focuses on the concept of morning and night rituals for mental wellness. Refresh is ideal to use as pick-me-up to start the day. It has been blended together with peppermint, lemongrass and eucalyptus, having a natural energising effect on the mind, eliminating mental fatigue as well as helping improve memory and giving a positive outlook. Unwind is perfect to upgrade evening rituals, crafted to help enjoy a tranquil nights sleep. Formulated using a blend of lavender, bergamot and lemon which help relax the mind.

Each candle comes with a unique meditation, helping you focus your attention and eliminate the steam of jumbled thoughts that may cause stress, resulting in enhanced physical and emotional well-being.

The brand is eco-friendly with 100% reusable or recyclable packaging. The candles come wrapped in seed paper, allowing you to re-use the jar once finished burning to grow beautiful wildflowers. The rebirth aspect gives a motive, something to take care of; a reminder to always keep going and growing. Plants have numerous wellbeing benefits such as increased productivity, reduced stress levels and boosted moods.

For each candle sold, a percentage will go towards the charity Get Fit 4 Mental Wellness, which is committed to changing lives through getting fit.
