Erika MacGillivray, Founder & Formulator of Urthmos, created Urthmos in February 2020 with the intention to share with the world the power of plants. I have always been a lover of Nature and its endless beauty. Although Urthmos is somewhat new to the world, I have spent over fifteen years studying and researching herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Amazonian plants. Because of my knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, I have developed countless formulas that target skin conditions that have been a concern with most people. I feel especially called to help those with sensitive skin and maturing skin, as I personally know how those concerns can affect a person.

Urthmos offers Restorative skin care products with an ingredient base of Traditional Chinese Medicine root plants, Ayurvedic herbs, and Amazonian plants. Our products are made using centuries old remedies and revered ingredients found in a variety of cultures around the world. I am passionate about ethically sourced ingredients and through extensive research, sourcing, and spiritual guidance I have procured the best quality of plants. I’m proud to offer products made from high-quality, fair-trade, and ethically sourced ingredients that have been proven to revive and restore the skin. All the ingredients and preservatives in Urthmos products are certified organic, 100% natural (non-certified), and wild harvested.

Our Chavi Dry Facial Wash is the perfect blend of flowers and Ayurvedic herbs to thoroughly clean and rejuvenate your skin. Just shake a little in your hand and add several drops of water to create a nourishing lather that gently exfoliates, cleans, and soothes sensitive skin. Because the Chavi Dry Facial Wash is a powder and has no preservatives, it is perfect for travel!
