Surval Montreux

Surval Montreux is an exceptional international boarding school for girls aged 12-19 offering full and weekly boarding. In an inspiring, safe setting on the banks of Lac Léman in French-speaking Switzerland, Surval seeks to empower ambitious, globally competent young women who are entrepreneurial and adventurous in spirit and have the inner confidence to follow their chosen path.

Surval offers both US and UK curricular programmes in Grades 8-12. In class sizes of a maximum of ten students, each girl’s course of study is tailored to her needs and goals and keeps options open for university study in the UK, US, Switzerland and globally. Girls graduate with the American High School Diploma and Advanced Placements, or UK IGCSEs and A Levels.

Enjoying the richness of Switzerland’s multilingual environment, English and French are the main languages of communication, with the option of additional language enrichment and home language tuition.

Surval’s popular Summer and Winter Camp programmes focus on French or English language development alongside culture and adventure.

An innovative Swiss Gap Year experience for school leavers provides an inspiring multicultural environment for students to grow in confidence and develop broader lifelong skills.

All programmes are underpinned by The Surval Core with a focus on Global Perspectives, Languages and Culture, Social Enterprise, Leadership and Adventure, giving girls a competitive edge in their future studies and careers. The Surval Core is developed through a super curriculum offering rich opportunities beyond the classroom.
