Founded and directed by Chris Sidey In January 2000 QTD is an award-winning team of experienced and innovative creators of timber projects and materials for internal and external applications to meet the high expectations of commercial and private clients. They place customer service at the heart of everything they do to ultimately provide solutions to their client’s needs.

Their clients are the focus and they take the time to thoroughly understand what they desire and what they want to achieve from each individual project.

Chris Sidey decided to utilise his carpentry skills and passion for designing and started Quality Timber Decking which allowed him to design and construct bespoke elevated timber decks, bridges and structures using the highest quality and most stable timbers available.

By 2007 they were increasingly being asked by commercial clients if they could also supply the materials they were sourcing, and Quality Timber Supplies was formed.

Since then they have steadily grown and diversified the business known today as QTD Ltd.

Their workshop facilities allow them to design and produce different products for their customers. Whether that be Furniture, Interior Flooring, 3D wall panelling, Charred Cladding, or Hardwood Cladding & Decking.

They have nurtured this passion to become leaders in their field and through their green credentials they are one of the only companies in this market to be able to provide an FSC and PEFC full chain of custody certification from the harvesting of the timber through to project completion.

Supplying and building with specialist hardwoods and ThermoWood on internal and external projects puts them in the unique position of understanding what does and doesn't work in the UK and Overseas climate. They can therefore pass on their expertise and guidance in helping you to make the right choice of material for timber construction projects, whether you are Architects / Specifiers, trade, or private clients.
