Nicolas Moreton MRBS. BA(Hons)

Nicolas Moreton MRBS. BA(Hons) is one of Britain’s finest fine art stone carvers. Based in rural Northamptonshire he has worked in the private and public sectors for thirty years and continues to make thought provoking humanistic sculpture. Nicolas is very happy to be commissioned for site specific projects and to help the client through the artistic process whilst working within a tailor made budget to suit the individual commission. Working in a traditional manner his preferred material is stone and bronze but more recently more modern materials such as electrical light and heat have been incorporated.

His work is now collected worldwide and has been exhibited extensively, showing at Messum Fine Art, London, The Royal Academy, The Mall Gallery, MKG Milton Keynes, Robert Bowman Gallery London, and the Goldmark Gallery to name a few. His work was recognized in 1995 when he was made a member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. In 2006 he won the International Brian Mercer Award for sculpture.2010 he was the winner of the “People’s choice” award at the National Sculpture Show, Liverpool.
