The former village school in Newton on Ouse has been given a new lease of life with a redevelopment project that has transformed the disused building into a contemporary four-bedroom home with original features. It is on the market with Croft Residential  for £900,000.

Built in the 19^th century and used as a school until the 1980s, the building was bought from the local parish council in 2018 by Cherry Blossom Developments. The house has been designed and built by developer Glen Shorrock, who has made the most of the property’s tall arched windows and other architectural features to create a home that is flooded with natural light.
