JY

JY is a Franco-Mauritian abstract art painter. For him, painting is an unconscious act. He chooses the colours through what he feels; He does not overthink his choices; He let his instinct guiding him. In this way, all the time he is surprising himself. It is the relationship perfect for him because he has no expectations, he is just enjoying the moment like it is.

Inspired by many Breton painters, his painting world is mixing supernatural, nature and universe.

You will find in each of his paintings, originality and spontaneity.

When he was young, he was a bit ashamed of trying to think what the artists represents on their paintings. Some of you, might be felt it as well. But this is the beauty of abstract and his paintings. You can see whatever you want, and he wants you to imagine a lot of things because he has a perception and you a different one. It is that, that giving more meaning to his work and help him to figure out his all universe.
