ISAMEL’s  Founder, Kendall Barry, is a seasoned fashion design professional and fit expert, with advanced expertise in embellishment and embroidery techniques. With over eleven years of experience in the fashion industry, and over six years of top luxury runway design experience at Michael Kors Collection, her work has been featured in numerous magazines and on celebrities attending VIP red carpet events, such as The Met Gala, The Emmys, The Tonys, and The Oscars.

During her career, Kendall gained an insider's view of the unfortunate effects of waste and the consequences of mass production on the environment and is now translating her skills and passion to create luxury swimwear that reflects the change consumers want to see.

The collection is created from regenerated ECONYL® fiber. This innovative material is woven from nylon waste. The fabric made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon is incredibly soft and resistant to chlorine, UV rays, and sun creams. This means the styles not only look and feel amazing, but are also durable, and help to clean our oceans of abandoned nylon fishing nets and save marine wildlife.
