Austen Denham

The artist formerly known as James followed the unconventional route to the studio. Spending nearly 20 years in the corporate world in London before contemporary art found him.

Beginning painting whilst studying Business at University, he developed his techniques with acrylic on canvas. Primarily as a hobby before the interest in some of his abstract original acrylic paintings grew.

Each Austen Denham abstract original painting is process led by the artist. Using a mixture of tools including palette knives and paint scrapers to create multiple layers of bold colour and textures, adding a sense of atmosphere and depth to the contemporary art work.

Austen Denham has commissioned works for private homes and commercial spaces.
