THE GOLF COURSE

The golf course at Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort has received its own “royal” treatment thanks golfing royalty, Seve Ballesteros. Increasingly turning his hand to the art of golf course design, the celebrated Spaniard created an electrifying layout for the Silver Coast, living up to the character of the resort.

Designed to merge effortlessly into the natural surroundings, whilst making innovative use of the local terrain, the championship course offers something to golfers of all levels. Says Seve; “My philosophy is to not only have a championship course that presents a challenge for professional players, but also one that can be enjoyed by the club golfers.”

A well-equipped clubhouse, with a restaurant, a spike bar, a pro shop and a golf academy, overlooks 12 of the 18 holes, and its terrace offers an ideal post-round venue.

REAL ESTATE

Acquiring property in Portugal can be an excellent investment opportunity for a multitude of reasons; clear and transparent tax rules, new legal provisions that are attractive to foreign investors, a fairly simple route to obtaining Portuguese nationality and a residence permit, as well as a passport with free movement within the European Union.
