The University of Wolverhampton, in collaboration with the British Judo Association and Parkinson’s UK, is launching a new course aimed at improving the confidence and physical activity of people living with Parkinson’s.

Tina Smith, Senior Lecturer in Sports Biomechanics at the University of Wolverhampton, said: “The combination of funding from Parkinson’s UK, and the University of Wolverhampton working in partnership with the British Judo Association and Parkinson’s UK, has provided a unique opportunity to make a difference and improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s.’
This project marks a unique opportunity to use physical activity to help people with Parkinson’s live better lives and manage challenges associated with the condition.
