From the client who fell ill at Heathrow airport and subsequently missed his flight, to managing the fallout from an aggravated burglary, EPC are on hand to guide clients in their hour of need.

The aforementioned Heathrow client didn’t have a doctor’s certificate to prove his short term yet acute illness, nor did he have cancellation authorisation from his airline or hotel. He fell ill, couldn’t travel, went home and told us his story.

Armed with this information and receipts, EPC arranged for the reimbursement of his unused hotel room, flight and even his taxi fare home. It wasn’t a huge claim in monetary terms but it was a reaffirmation of the quality of insurance he had purchased.

An aggravated burglary usually has huge value implications. Yet in addition to negotiating recompense for material loss, how many clients or indeed brokers understand the peripheral needs and options at such a traumatic time? EPC do.

In such an instance, manned security was sourced and paid for, related medical expenses were included, upgrades in physical security were paid for as was related rest and recuperation costs. Even a reward was offered for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators.
