Alexandra Kathleen Beauty is the result of many years spent working with various skin types and conditions. With over 14 years’ experience working in the medical aesthetics industry, founder, Alexandra has been practising medical aesthetics since 2006 whilst based in Canada. In 2012, she ventured out to work on luxury liners in world renowned spas. Once back in Canada, she continued to treat clients alongside teaching medical aesthetics. Alexandra has taken her vast knowledge and applied it to creating effective and healing formulas. The company’s philosophy is that the ingredients in a formula can be simple, yet very effective, without containing chemical preservatives.

Alexandra’s passion for the industry began when she would help at her mother’s clinic and would help clean between clients, later becoming the secretary and office manager before studying medical aesthetics in 2006. Her mother, Nicola, has been practising aesthetics since the 1980’s where she then worked with her mother, Alexandra’s Grandmother, at their two skin and hair removal clinics in Vancouver. Before Nicola opened her own clinic in Kelowna, she and her mother were on the fore-front of bringing Laser Hair Removal to Western Canada. In the past decade, Nicola recently founded the Nicola Finch Laserspa Academy where she and Alexandra teach future medical aestheticians in Canada. Researching to keep abreast of the current treatments and trends is key for Alexandra and constantly improving ensures that each product and its efficacy are always kept to the utmost standards for every unique skin concern.

Over the past year, Alexandra Kathleen Beauty has brought a lot of growth and development to the brand. Whilst COVID-19 forced many companies to adapt, they saw it as a time to research the shift in what people really need. They found that homecare beyond the medi-spa is essential and thus created products that can be used at home that will still treat, heal and prevent.

All the products were originally designed for in-clinic use while performing treatments. The initial goal was to ensure that after performing a treatment, a clean and non-toxic formula was being applied to the skin.

The formulas are designed and tested alongside other skin care specialists for optimal efficacy. The products are manufactured at eco-conscious labs in Canada, striving to ensure their eco footprint is as small as possible.
