HIGHEST APARTMENTS LAUNCHED AT PRECISION IN GREENWICH

Skyhigh apartments, located almost 200 ft above Greenwich, have been launched by Weston Homes. Known as the Skyline Apartments, the four apartments offer views over the Thames and Isle of Dogs, located 193 ft above ground on the top 17^th floor of the Buchanan Tower, at the company’s Precision development in Greenwich.

Located off Blackwall Lane, the Telegraph Works factory was founded in 1857 and built the transatlantic telegraph cables which, laid under the Atlantic Ocean, enabled Queen Victoria to communicate with US President James Buchanan in 1858 and the private undersea line which connected PM Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt in 1940. In 2013 the factory closed and planning was achieved in late 2014 for converting the site to residential use.

Now the 193 ft high Buchanan Tower forms the landmark main building at Precision. The 17 storey residential tower has floor to ceiling windows, recessed balconies and coloured and rendered terracotta panels, giving the facade a striking mosaic-like appearance.

Each of the Skyline Apartments has an entrance hall which opens onto a spacious double reception room with strip wood flooring. Providing space for a living room and dining room the double reception spaces have floor to ceiling windows, and open onto a recessed balcony.
