UK property developer MHA London has transformed a 1960s Brutalist-style office block in the capital’s tech hub into luxury, high-tech apartments – three quarters of which are now rented out to students.

The eight units – six two-bed apartments and two three-bed penthouses ranging from 811 sqft to 1451 sqft – rent for up to £1,300 a week. The ground floor has been retained as a commercial unit.

The high-end apartments at 30 Old Street include air conditioning, floor-to-ceiling glass roof terraces and balconies, triple glazing, and intuitive lighting.

The interior of the post-industrial style building, which boasts views over London’s skyline from St Paul’s Cathedral to the Shard, has been designed by the architect MWA, along with MHA’s in-house team and showcases the developer’s expertise at delivering a high-spec development.
