In total, there are over 70 courses, including some of the most recognisable in Europe, from LasBrisas, Los Naranjos and La Quinta, to Finca Cortesin; all boast clubhouses to enjoy some chilled wine and tapas after a round.

A place that is not known to many, especially those who aren’t residents, is the nearby town of Benahavis Pueblo, home to spectacular scenery and quaint streets, and renowned as the gastronomic heart of the Costa Del Sol.

A haven for foodies and drinks connoisseurs alike, Benahavis boasts numerous restaurants. In fact, such is the town’s reputation for gastronomy, that each evening, cars arrive from miles around just to indulge in this unique fine-dining offering.

La Sala, Nobu, Sea Grill at Puente Romano and Occo are some of the dining establishments to whet the appetite. Marbella itself, is also home to several Michelin-star restaurants if the last word in quality fine-dining is what you are craving.

Many people think of Marbella as home to fast cars and superyachts, but hiding in plain sight is the charming old town of Marbella, known as the ‘Casco Antiguo’. A myriad of cobbled streets, boutiques, family-owned tapas bars and traditional Spanish flowerpots bursting with colour, it certainly is a sight to behold.

Leading to the famous Plaza de Los Naranjos, the relaxed and comforting atmosphere here is bolstered by a happy and warm vibe. To sum Marbella up, it can simply be called ‘paradise’.
