Mallorca to show-off stunning golf courses by hosting 2018 Rafa Nadal Golf Challenge

Some big names in the golfing industry – along with avid fans – are arriving on the Balearic Island of Mallorca this week for the 2018 Rafa Nadal Golf Challenge.

The stunning island boasts an impressive array of golf courses, and is one of the top European destinations for the sport, now rivalling the traditional leaders of the Algarve and Costa Del Sol. British buyers account for around 35-40% of all buyers on the island of Mallorca, closely followed by German, Austrian and Swiss buyers, demonstrating a truly international appeal of the golfing scene.

This week, these stunning courses will be on full display as the challenge launches on February 15. Starting at Golf Son Servera on the first day of the competition – which is hosted by Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC - competitors will then continue to Pula Golf with the tournament ending at Golf Son Gual, showcasing the best of the world class golf courses on offer on the island.

The challenge will be celebrated at the Rafa Nadal Sports Centre in Manacor, Mallorca, and will see a number of Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate companies from around the world partake in the golf challenge.

Notably these will include a team led by Philip White, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. Rafa Nadal will also be leading a team to compete alongside the Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates.
