A Lincoln furniture manufacturer is celebrating its largest order to date on one of the largest superyachts ever built.
The luxurious Aureus massage table, hand-made by Aequum in their Nettleham workshop, was made bespoke to complement the superyacht design.
Individual features for the massage table include American black walnut, black Caledonian leather, polished stainless steel, sculptured hand rest, side arms, head pillow, bolster cushion and face plug.
The massage table was meticulously handmade with fine attention to detail and care using premium quality materials and refined English craftsmanship, and it took the team more than 400 man hours to create from start to finish.
“It was such a thrill to see our Aureus massage table in pride of place on the custom superyacht,” says owner Edward Crowther. “I travelled to the Alblasserdam shipyard in the Netherlands to personally install the Aureus and I was delighted with the client’s reaction after my team had spent so many hours building the massage couch by hand in our small workshop.”
The new superyacht is regarded as one of the luxury superyacht world’s defining projects with accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms with features including Beach Club, Jacuzzi on deck, Swimming Platform, Tender Garage and Underwater Lights. The owner personally selected Lincoln manufacturer, Aequum, to provide the ultimate in luxury and ergonomics to sit alongside world renowned luxury brands.
