KYN Celebrates The Opening Of Its First Home

This month KYN BICKLEY opened its doors to over 100 guests to celebrate its upcoming launch on the 1st of February.

Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception, freshly prepared canapés and tours of the home and gardens.

The event was also attended by the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Hannah Gray and the CEO of Care England, Professor Martin Green who both spoke at the event.

Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Hannah Gray said: “I am in awe of KYN BICKLEY. The development is beautiful. From what I’ve seen and the people I’ve met, I can see the staff have come on board with a passion to care for the people they will look after, and the technology in the rooms will help make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible for residents.

“Bromley has a huge heart. The people are extremely caring. And I can see this is going to be a very important part of that community.”

For KYN, having strong relationships throughout the community is essential.

Working in partnership with national charity, Dementia UK, KYN has employed a dementia specialist, Admiral Nurse who can provide life-changing support for families affected by all forms of dementia. As part of her role as KYN’s Admiral Nurse, Connie Williams, will spend a significant amount of time supporting families of people living with dementia and those around them in the community.

Against a backdrop of beautiful interiors and imaginatively designed gardens, KYN provide highly personalised, outstanding care; delicious food; an interesting programme of activities and entertainment; and a menu of enjoyable treatments at the in-house KYTH Spa.
