Actress and producer Eva Longoria is selling her home in Hollywood Hills West for $14 million, just two years after buying the hilltop estate from Tom Cruise.
The former Desperate Housewives star bought the gated, multi-building compound for $11.4 million in 2015, according to property records.
The home comprises two main houses, of different architectural styles, on a 2.5-acre lot. One is a white-stucco country house with four bedrooms and four bathrooms; the other is a Spanish-style villa with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Within the main house is an Italian-farmhouse-style kitchen and a living room with a fireplace. A lagoon-style swimming pool and spa, fountain features, gardens and a trellis-topped patio make up the gated grounds.
The property also has a stone cottage suitable for a wine cellar and tasting room, as well as a three-car garage, two small studios and ample paved terrace space.
Ms Longoria planned to renovate and redecorate the property with then-fiance José ‘Pepe’ Bastón. The couple commissioned architect Mark Rios of Rios Clementi Hale Studios to design a renovation and addition to the property.
Now it appears the 42-year-old actress and her new husband have decided to settle down elsewhere and have put the home bought from the Top Gun star on the market. The listing is with Loren Judd of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
Ms. Longoria has reportedly bought a freshly remodeled home in Beverly Crest for $13.5 million.
