LABS Collective has announced its plans to transform Victoria House, the Grade-II listed landmark building in Holborn, into central London’s largest co-working space. Over 150,000 square foot of workspace and a further 40 meetings rooms will be available for occupation in Summer 2020.
The takeover of Victoria House brings LABS Collective’s co-working portfolio (named LABS) to 11 spaces across London. Ideally located in leading Zone One workplace destinations - Holborn, Camden and King’s Cross – each space nurtures collaboration and social interaction between businesses and employees.
Similarly to existing LABS spaces, the new site will be designed with wellbeing and productivity at the fore. A hotel style lobby with a café and bar will create a mood-boosting first impression while a wellbeing centre, expansive roof terrace and multi-use meeting and event facilities will also feature. A further extension into the basement of the property will provide additional, beautifully designed spaces for hosting events and collaborations.
A flexible floorplate layout ensures the space is adaptable to any business’s requirements. LABS Collective’s vision for Victoria House is for both creatives and corporates, large and small to occupy the space together. Its signature modern design and contemporary feel will appeal to a range of occupiers and on completion, Victoria House will nearly double the number of LABS members, presently 4,500.
Dotan Weiner, COO of LABS Collective, says, “We are delighted to add Victoria House to our portfolio of co working spaces. The building represents the fifth addition to our Holborn campus and a landmark moment for the LABS Collective.”
Sensitive restoration will revive the building to its former grandeur, honouring the history and precious architectural detail, preserving its character, charm and heritage. This will be combined with LABS’ signature design to modernise the space, creating unique contemporary spaces for businesses and their people to thrive.
LABS Collective is an entity comprising of three verticals; LABS (co-working spaces), STAY (serviced accommodation) and HOST (event spaces). The LABS Collective is owned by LabTech who manage and own over 2 million sq ft of real estate across Camden, Holborn, King’s Cross and Bloomsbury and is committed to nurturing creativity and success throughout its elegant and technology driven, work, living and event spaces.
With prices starting from £199+VAT for Roaming and £500+VAT for Reserved, the LABS Collective expect to fill the space before opening next year.
