Built in 1901, this magnificent Arts & Crafts sanatorium was officially opened by His Majesty King Edward VII and heralded as ‘one of the three finest buildings of the time’. Gardens originally designed by Gertrude Jekyll have also been reinstated.
Sundridge Mansion is an outstanding Grade I Listed mansion designed by legendary architect John Nash, with the surrounding gardens designed by renowned landscape designer Humphry Repton. Factory No.1 includes two of Bristol’s most distinctive buildings and it was once the headquarters of Imperial Tobacco. Designed by Sir Frank Wills, it is known for being the first factory of tobacco importers and manufacturers W.D & H.O Wills in 1886.
