For a top class luxury stay, Four Seasons is the obvious choice. Now Stephen Penn ­finds out more about their stateside foray into Standalone Private Residences with the new Four Seasons Private Residences in Los Angeles

Four Seasons has a global reputation for unrivalled elegance, o­ffering a bespoke level of luxury in their esteemed standalone hotels and composite hotels/ residence concepts since 1985.

This stellar presence within the hospitality market led the brand to launch their standalone private residences, thus continuing to bring the premium services that the iconic brand is celebrated for into the comfort of one’s own private sanctuary.

This started in the UK with Twenty Grosvenor Square, and now, the company is taking this ideology stateside, with Four Seasons Private Residences Los Angeles, the first standalone Four Seasons-branded luxury condominium in North America.

Destined to redefine world-class lavish living, the property is being developed by Genton Development Company, an LA-based real estate development and investment firm. Located at 9000 West 3rd Street – just steps from the high-end boutiques, restaurant galleries and furniture ateliers of Rodeo Drive, the 12-story building is designed by architect, CallisonRTKL, with California modern style interiors carefully crafted by designer to the stars, Martyn Lawrence Bullard.

“Open-concept indoor and outdoor living spaces take advantage of year-round natural light and panoramic city views spanning the iconic Hollywood Hills to the glittering Downtown Los Angeles skyline,” explains Jonathan Genton, CEO of Genton Development Company.

The Tower boasts 12  oors and 37 residences – comprising five tower estates, 31 residences and a 12,000 square feet penthouse complete with its own rooftop garden offering 360-degree panoramas. Two distinctive wings – one on Wetherly Drive and one on Almont Drive – each with 11 residences, create a residential experience connected to the surrounding neighbourhood and building amenities.

Professional-grade gourmet kitchens are equipped with restaurant-grade cooking technology, as well as built-in cabinetry and integrated appliances by top-notch designers like Gaggenau. En-suite bathrooms feature top-quality fixtures for spa-like luxury, while the spacious master bathrooms feature signature Four Seasons-calibre deep-soaking tubs, separate glass-walled showers and his/hers vanities outfitted in marble.

Residents will also have access to the amenities and services o­ffered at the neighbouring Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, the famed five-star hotel which has been home to Hollywood royalty and luxury travellers for more than 30 years.

This includes exclusive access to event spaces, spa facilities and the hotel’s dining outlets: Culina, Vinoteca, Windows Lounge and Cabana.
