Former supermodel Tyra Banks has scooped up yet another home in Pacific Palisades, buying a 6,200-square-foot hillside mansion for $7 million.
The creator of America’s Next Top Model, owns at least three other multimillion-dollar homes in the Southern California city. Her latest purchase is a five-bedroom, six-bath home built in 2014, which is equipped with smart home technology, high ceilings, wide plank flooring, a media room, a full bar, a wine cellar, a gym, a guest suite and ocean and city views.
The home, which is described as having a 'modern yet inviting design', is also a zero-edge pool and a roof deck with an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit and a hot tub.
Banks, 44, bought the home at the end of February through a trust attached to her mother, according to property records. She paid the full asking price for the home, which was originally listed in September.
The reality TV star first bought a home in the celebrity haven, bordered by Brentwood, Santa Monica and Malibu, for $3.23 million in 2014. Two years later she acquired a 4,797-square-foot ocean view abode for $7.35 million, then in July 2017, scooped up a $1.36 million investment property, also in the vicinity.
She also owns a 7,000-square-foot Manhattan duplex in Battery Park City that she purchased in 2009 for $10.13 million.
