Flamboyant rock chic and No Doubt front woman, Gwen Stefani has sold her luxe Beverly Hills estate for £10 million less than it was first listed for. The seven-bed, ten-bath home was originally listed for $35 million in 2017, was reduced earlier this year to $24.9 million and finally sold for $21.65 million on 1st October. Stefani purchased the home with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale for $13.25 million in 2006 and proceeded to give it a colourful overhaul, with the assistance of designer, Kelly Wearstler.
The mansion was built in 2003 and along with seven bedrooms and ten bathrooms, the property has a gym, a massage and sauna area and the outside space resembles a tropical resort, complete with an infinity pool, a full tennis court, chicken coop, detached guest house, and a playground for Stefani’s children.
The interior features is a kaleidoscope of colour, incorporating striped and spotted prints, neon pink furniture, elaborate murals, a yellow bed, a red bathroom and a large rhinoceros sculpture, reflecting unique and eclectic Stefani’s taste.
Six of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and the master bedroom boasts a walk-in wardrobe with chic carpeting and wood panelling. The kitchen is painted in black-and-white stripes with concealed storage space and an adjoining breakfast room.
Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the San Fenando valley, and vaulted ceilings, skylights, and hardwood flooring complete the look.
