Using revolutionary technology in partnership with specialist company Reevo 360, buyers can access a guided “virtual viewing” tour of both show apartments, without the need to leave their homes.

Within hours of the virtual tours launching live, the partners are delighted to announce the first successful reservation, all handled remotely. The buyer has reserved a luxe studio apartment following a detailed guided tour with a Galliard sales agent. The Stage is the £750 million transformation of the 2.3-acre site of William Shakespeare’s Curtain Theatre into a new mixed-use destination for London, with 50% of the scheme sold off-plan two years ahead of completion in 2022.

Using sophisticated technology including a bespoke camera rig, Reevo 360 has created state-of-the-art 360-degree virtual reality interior views of The Stage showcasing the two show apartments. From anywhere in the world a buyer can view the tours on their smartphone, tablet or PC; the buyer can also connect to a professionally trained Galliard sales agent who can share screens with the buyer and up to fifty other people of their choice. The agent can talk them through the tour, answering any questions they may have and conveying all benefits of the property.

Galliard has launched virtual viewings in light of the latest guidance from the Ministry of Housing and the Law Society on marketing and transaction procedures during the Coronavirus lockdown. Developers with sales agents, working remotely/from home, can market properties via virtual viewings technology and remote telephone/video calls, and offers can be made and accepted. For unoccupied new build homes like those at The Stage that Galliard are marketing, once contracts are exchanged, transactions can continue without any delay since there are no existing occupier risks.

The new virtual tours will be used to market 250 apartments available in the current phase at The Stage.
