Alda Filipe, Sales and Marketing Director of Kronos Homes based in Portugal, commented: “Portugal has so much to offer that it makes a superb choice as both a holiday destination and a place to live fulltime. The climate and abundance of greenspace are ideally suited to an outdoor lifestyle, particularly in the Algarve, which enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year. And the pace of life has so much to offer in terms of mental health and wellbeing benefits. There are so many factors that contribute to the superior quality of life here.”
At Palmares Ocean Living & Golf, one of Kronos Homes recent developments, located in a natural amphitheatre overlooking the sparkling waters of the Alvor estuary in the Western Algarve, homeowners can enjoy the very best of the Portuguese lifestyle. The resort has been built to forge an exceptional harmony with the natural landscape, with a construction density of just 5.7%. The combination of ocean and golf landscapes delivers a sense of oneness with the natural world, for the ideal escape.
Alda adds: “Nature and sustainability are playing an increasingly important role in buyers’ choices, with proximity to the ocean a key element as well as a low-density environment yet still an easy reach to urban areas, amenities and transport links.”
