Spanning interiors, curation and set design for creative-minded clients, dynamic young grands and established global names, the team behind Sella Concept are all about creating spaces that tell stories. Founders Tatjana Von Stein and Gayle Noonan reveal all.
Award winning studio Sella Concept provides a full spectrum of design services to high end residential and commercial clients, spanning interior, furniture and set design by Tatjana von Stein and branding by Gayle Noonan.
Since the studio was established, Sella has conceived and designed eye-catching and engaging workspaces, restaurants, hotels, members’ clubs and retail spaces, as well as helping Google launch Pixel in London, Netflix make its debut in at the Cannes Film Festival and Instagram launch IGTV live.
“Immersed in the art, design and hospitality world, we create spaces that tell stories,” explains Tatjana. “It’s all about identities with meaning, environments outside time and sensory details that stir emotions and steer behaviours.”
While the creative duo’s clients are diverse in culture, outlook and character, they share a common goal: to transport their homes or their clients outside everyday life, to give them space to breathe and scope to dream.
“Our high-end residential projects weave together a multitude of sensory details,” she adds. “It’s all about designing spaces that transport their users through a seamless combination of visual and tactile details.”
Sella Concepts designs are rooted in research. Every project begins by developing an in-depth understanding of the space and establishing clear outlines of the emotions and experiences that the environment needs to nurture and sustain.
Adds Tatjana: “Our concept continues to evolve in dialogue with our clients and our network of master fabricators. Our approach is honest, open and hands-on. We enter into every new project in a spirit of collaboration and positivity – because we know that, by working together, being responsive, and having the courage to push the boundaries, we can create exceptional spaces that move, engage and excite. You could say we shape environments and experiences that transport and inspire.”
