Villa of the Italian designer family Alessi on Lake Maggiore is for sale

Engel & Völkers is brokering the sale of the villa by architect Aldo Rossi in Italy, the purchase price is 7 million euros.

This villa in Verbania in Northern Italy was designed in 1989 by the Italian architect Aldo Rossi and has been owned by the designer family Alessi ever since. Now it is for sale for 7 million euros. “The villa impresses with its special connection with the territory. The materials used come from local producers and have been carefully crafted by Italian artisans,” says Alessandro Lotito, Office Manager and Licence Partner of Engel & Völkers Lago Maggiore.

On the north bank of this lake in Northern Italy, the Villa Alessi sits on a plot measuring 2,250 square metres. The property covers a living space of 560 square metres and includes four bedrooms and five bathrooms. Every window in the main facade of the three-storey villa has direct views of the lake and the Borromean Islands. The property also has a garden with a large sun terrace offering direct access to the lake, as well as its own pier and two garages.

Alessi: Italian design with tradition
The world-famous Italian company Alessi has been producing high quality kitchen and household utensils since 1921. The company was founded by Giovanni Alessi and started out manufacturing items of tableware from nickel, chrome and silver-plated brass. Over the years the company has collaborated with several prominent figures, including the artist Salvador Dalí, the architect David Chipperfield, the sculptor Giò Pomodoro, and many more.
