FINAL COLLECTION RELEASED AT ONE CASSON SQUARE

One Casson Square, the first residential building to launch at Southbank Place, has proved a huge success with 190 of the 213 units available (89%) sold to date. Now Braeburn Estates, the joint venture partnership between Qatari Diar and Canary Wharf Group, is releasing the final collection of eight spectacular upper level apartments to the market, with prices starting from £2.18 Million.

Situated on levels 33 and 34, the two-bedroom apartments range in size from 1,014 sq. ft. to 1,264 sq. ft. Each apartment comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, open-plan kitchen/dining & living area, whilst each apartment on level 33 comes complete with a 75 sq. ft. corner balcony.

The views on offer are some of the best in the capital with direct aspects onto the River Thames, London Eye and Houses of Parliaments, as well as vistas of the City, the Shard and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Award-winning design house Johnson Naylor have created carefully considered interiors that create calm, yet contemporary apartments, with an emphasis on natural light and maximising views.

The building, designed by Squire & Partners, has been named after the British architect, and former director of the South Bank’s Festival of Britain, Sir Hugh Casson. Situated in a prime position on the South Bank, surrounding the Shell Centre building, the full development; comprising seven buildings with three residential blocks, first launched in September 2015, with over 85% of available apartments sold to date.

Commenting on the launch, Richard Oakes, Sales & Marketing Director, Europe, Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company said: “The sales at Southbank Place have been fantastic to date, so to be able to release the final phase at Casson Square will allow us to reinvigorate buyers that may have been unable to buy the first time around. The fact that they’re on the upper levels and boasting some of the best views in London is another strong selling point and something we think will be a big drawer for purchasers.”

Canary Wharf Group’s Head of Residential Sales, Brian De’ath added: “Since first launching One Casson Square we’ve been inundated with enquiries of when this exclusive collection of apartments on the upper reaches of the building would be released, so to be able to now actively sell them is incredibly exciting. This development speaks for itself; the apartment designs, the location, the views and the amenities are the perfect combination when speaking to people looking to buy a central London home with that extra wow factor.”

Situated between Waterloo and County Hall, with Westminster a short walk over the River Thames, Southbank Place is arguably one of London’s best located developments. Residents will enjoy excellent transport links including a new entrance into Waterloo Station with access to the Jubilee, Northern and Bakerloo lines, as well as rail services to the South and South West of England. The Development is also a stone’s throw from some of the city’s best-known attractions and landmarks, as well as theatres, art galleries and fine dining, which all can be found along the South Bank.

In total Southbank Place comprises 877 private units across five residential buildings. The development will include a new public square, in addition to more than 530,000 sq. ft. of office spaces and 48,000 sq. ft. of retail, leisure and hospitality space.

The development also includes a 18,000 sq. ft. residents-only health & fitness facility, designed in the style of a five-star hotel spa by interior specialists; Goddard Littlefair, which will include steam and sauna rooms, gymnasium, 25-metre swimming pool, treatment rooms, wet room and individual exercise rooms. With the space flexible to meet ever-changing fitness trends, there is also a hair and beauty bar and spa treatment room for those in need of some rest and relaxation.

Southbank Place’s marketing suite and show apartments are set within the adjacent Grade II listed County Hall building, providing buyers with the opportunity to view the design layouts of the residences on offer as well as the fixtures, fittings and fabrics of the interiors.

Prices start from £2,180,000 for a two-bedroom apartment. For further information on Southbank Place or to book an appointment in the marketing suite visit www.southbank-place.com or call 0207 001 3600.
