One of the chair-spinning judges on the US version of The Voice has found a buyer for his $18 million home in less than a month.
Adam Levine, the frontman of the hit band Maroon 5, listed his California mansion in November – just two months after he purchased it. Levine and his wife, Namibian model Behati Prinsloo, put the 9,200 square feet home up for sale in the Holmbay Hills for $18.9 million on November 27.
Built in the 1960s, the Hollywood Regency-style house has a two-story guest house and is ready for full remodel or redevelopment, accord to the listing. Levine and his wife ripped the Caspar Ehmcke-designed home down to the studs in preparation for major renovations.
But it appears the pair changed their minds about the project, likely because Prinsloo is now pregnant with the couple’s second baby. An agent for the sale reported said the couple ‘don’t have time for a renovation’ with their second little girl on the way.
Last week the home was taken off the market as it was sold for $18m. Their $15.9 million Beverly Hills estate, which was put up for sale just days after the Holmby Hills home, remains on the market.
