Heathfield School’s annual Music Captain’s Concert took place in October, showcasing a range of student performances and supporting the theme of “Opportunity.” The event raised nearly £300 for Young Sounds, a charity that provides music lessons for children and young people who might not otherwise have access to them.
The evening featured a mix of instrumental and vocal performances, including violin, harp, drums, piano, and flute, alongside solo and choral pieces from the school’s ensembles. The school band and orchestra opened and closed the concert, with younger students joining for a lively performance of The Hall of the Mountain King.
The concert highlighted the school’s musical talent and community spirit while contributing to a charitable cause.
