The unit, occupying half of the 36th floor in the 62-story condominium building, was listed for $7.1 million in November 2019 with Sylvia Fragos of Great Estates International Realty. The auction is without reserve, meaning the highest bidder will become the new owner, Concierge Auctions said.
The seller, whose identity Concierge Auctions declined to disclose, purchased the apartment in July 2019 for $6.3 million, property records show.
The residence has 4,876 square feet of interior space with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay and South Beach through floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. Furnished with custom Italian pieces, it includes four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, an open family room, an eat-in chef’s kitchen and an office, according to the listing.
The tower, which opened in August 2019, has a private rooftop helipad, a sky lounge for dining and private events, an aquatic center with an indoor lap pool, a wellness center and a spa.
The online auction offers an opportunity for global buyers “to own in the prestigious One Thousand Museum by Zaha Hadid at their bid price, which offers a life of luxury enjoyed by sophisticated buyers and neighbors like David and Victoria Beckham,” Ms. Fragos said in a statement via Concierge Auctions.
Last month, the building’s developers announced that the Beckhams purchased a full-floor penthouse in the building, Mansion Global previously reported.
