Singer Gwen Stefani has chopped $6 million off the price of her lavish Beverly Hills compound – which was once the home of Jennifer Lopez - and is now asking for $29 million.
The former No Doubt lead singer discounted the gated, multi-building estate this month after trying to sell it for more than a year. She listed the mega-mansion, dubbed ‘The Summit’, in January 2017 for $35 million.
The songwriter has owned the property for more than a decade, buying the sprawling home with her ex-husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale, in 2006 for $13.25 million. According to the listing, Ms Stefani hired designer Kelly Wearstler to craft the mansion’s vibrant and quirky interiors.
The mansion opens into a dramatic foyer decorated with an abstract splash of black and white marble. The living room centres around a floor-to-ceiling black marble fireplace and magenta couch.
Black and gold also adorns the master bathroom and walk-in closet. Outside, the home has a pool, tennis court, outdoor bar and a gym within the second building.
