Aussie megastar Hugh Jackman has just listed his palatial New York City three-storey condo on the market, with a whopping $55 million asking price.
The X-Men actor, 53, and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 66, have lived in the swanky downtown Manhattan apartment since 2008.
Located in the affluent Manhattan neighbourhood of the West Village, the three-level mansion in the sky is set within an iconic building designed by a doyen of architecture, Richard Meier.
Spanning the eighth, ninth and tenth floor and boasting five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a total internal living space north of 1020-square-metres, the opulent digs more than live up to the star power of its A-lister owner.
There are myriad luxuries with an abode such as this, but some notable standouts include a vast professional kitchen with pantry, guest suite, floor to ceiling windows and a grand spiral staircase that connects all three floors.
The tenth floor is also occupied exclusively by the home's master suite, which benefits from a raft of features such as two dressing rooms, a spa, sauna and even a dedicated workout space.
Best of all the apartment's many, many talking points, however, is the sweeping, unrelenting views of the Hudson River, which can be viewed from all the levels.
Jackman revealed last year he was homesick for his native Australia after NYC's lengthy Covid lockdown.
According to the New York Post, the Wolverine actor picked up the highly desirable pad back in 2008, paying a hefty USD $21 million ($29.6 million) at the time. But, if the 53-year-old can achieve his lofty asking price, it'll mean he's made a sweet USD $18.9 million ($25.4 million) profit in just 14 short years, which he can add to his already sizeable fortune, thought to be around $253 million.
