FORMER SPICE GIRL MEL B SLASHES ASKING PRICE OF LAVISH LA HOME

Mel B, known to the world as Scary Spice, has hacked another off the asking price of her LA home after more than a year and a half on the market.

The former Spice Girl and judge on America's Got Talent has slashed the price of her home to $5.9 million - 33% less than the original and ambitious asking price of $8.995 million.

Perched on a steep slope near the tony border between West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, the 6,000-square-foot contemporary, also available as a luxury rental at $40,000 per month, has three to four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms over four floors.

A custom-lit open-tread stairway leads from the top-floor entrance gallery to a spacious and high-ceilinged living room boasting bone-colored hardwood floors and glass sliders that open to a small terrace with cross-canyon view.

Wide doorways trimmed in nightclub-style LED light strips open one side of the room to a custom-lit wet bar and six-seat home theater. To the other side of the lounge is a Baccarat chandelier lit dining room and kitchen full of top-quality designer appliances.
