Export Barbados (BIDC) is the industrial and export development agency of the Government of Barbados, offering infrastructure, training, technical assistance, and export certification services. We are on a mission to transform Barbados’ industrial landscape around the oceans, bio, and design economies.

Major functions include advising, promoting, and facilitating export trade, supporting the establishment and expansion of enterprises, and providing technical assistance to improve efficiency. Export Barbados fosters industrial development and promotes Barbados as an international business center to attract foreign investment guided by ESG principles.

Solutions-oriented, we aim to diversify and grow the economy through new investment, increased exports, and job creation, fostering bold, innovative, sustainable and dynamic businesses. Priority projects include life sciences industry development, infrastructural transformation, greening infrastructure for sustainable energy, and digitization.
