Calvin Harris has sold his luxury Hollywood Hills home for a reported $5.1 million dollars, slightly more than the $5 million he paid for the residence in 2017.
The Abode has a musical history that will continue given the property has been sold to singer-songwriter Charli XCX. The mansion was previously owned by Swedish House Mafia DJ Steve Angello and boasts a guesthouse with a recording studio.
The modern, slick build boasts four-bedrooms and six-bathrooms, an 18-foot-high wood-beamed ceiling in the living room, which also features floor-to-ceiling walls of glass and a château-style fireplace; an open-plan upgraded kitchen and dining area with black cabinetry and black stone countertops; and a bar/lounge area with grey built-in banquette seating and a windowed wall, that overlooks a wraparound deck. The main suite is incredibly spacious, spanning two floors, with its own lounge area, custom-fitted dressing room, and spa style bathroom with dual vanities and a Jacuzzi deep-soaking tub.
The guesthouse adds to the homes’ appeal, with one of the two bedrooms converted into a recording studio and plenty of lounge space, as well as a balcony with unobstructed views of the surrounding Hollywood hills. The guesthouse boasts a complete kitchen and a double-height guest suite with its own black marble fireplace and a separate outdoor deck. A swimming pool serves as a centrepiece for the backyard.
In addition to selling this property, Harris also sold his picturesque compound in the same neighbourhood for $7 million earlier this year.
