The star of Austin Powers has re-listed his Soho penthouse on the market for $3million less than the original asking price.
Mike Myers, 54, originally purchased the elegant New York condo for $7.98 million in 2007. Eight years later he listed the property for more than double what he paid - $16.95 million.
The four-bedroom Mercer Street duplex spans 4,204 square feet and has four-and-a-half bathrooms, direct elevator entry and high ceilings. The two-floor apartment also boasts a balcony, a private and landscaped roof deck, an overhead skylight, white oak hardwood floors and a wall of custom crafted bookshelves.
But these charming features were not enough to entice buyers as it was taken off the market a few months later after a price drop to $15.95 million. Now the comedic actor – famed for his roles in Wayne’s World and voicing Shrek – has re-introduced the home to the market at a substantially lower price of $13.95 million.
And other property investments have not been successful for the comedian as last year he and his wife – Kelly Tisdale – flipped a unit at Tribeca’s celebrity-laden 443 Greenwich. The pair closed on the four-bedroom apartment last December for $14.67 million, listed it in January for $15 million but then sold it in March for $14 million, a loss.
