Multi Award winning singer, songwriter and pianist, Alicia Keys has sold the phoenix home she owned with her record producer husband, Swizz Beatz, for $3.1 million.
The 7,050-square-foot, gated estate that sits on Camelback Mountain includes four-bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms with floor to ceiling windows surrounding the master bedroom showcasing far-reaching views of the mountains and canyons that encase the city.
The expansive abode is almost an acre in size, and is set higher than many others in the area allowing for an additional level of privacy.
Other amenities include an open floor plan with high ceilings and a fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, several outdoor terraces, a negative-edge pool and spa, a screening and game room, a wet bar, a 800-bottle wine cellar and six-car garage.
The couple purchased the property in 2008 for $3.9 million under an LLC called Dreamland, according to records with PropertyShark.
Bearing in mind its credentials, the property wasn’t snapped up instantly as reports indicate the home has been on and off the market since 2016, when it was priced at $3.85 million, according to listing records. It was most recently listed for just under $3.4 million in March.
The agent confirmed the buyer was local, and was “drawn to the views.” However, he declined to reveal his identity.
