St. Joseph’s Institution International Preschool has expanded its campus with the opening of Shalom House, a newly renovated learning space. This development benefits both new and existing families by providing access to world-class facilities.
Shalom House honours the preschool's rich history, which dates back over six decades to its origins as Maris Stella Kindergarten. The renovation thoughtfully integrates the building's historical elements with modern educational resources, supporting the preschool's inquiry-based learning approach. The learning spaces within Shalom House, like all classrooms at SJI International Preschool, feature multifunctional furnishings. They also include designated areas such as a story space and a Mandarin corner, designed to enhance the preschool's bilingual literacy programme.
Further expansion is underway, with the planned opening of Santo Bambino by the end of 2026. This new building will offer facilities comparable to Shalom House, featuring inviting learning spaces that promote creativity, curiosity, and collaboration among young learners.
The Holland Road campus location provides children with direct exposure to diverse flora, fauna, and wildlife. This natural environment facilitates numerous outdoor learning opportunities, including an urban farm where children can experience the 'farm to table' concept and engage in eco-friendly and sustainable practices.
