Short term Prime Central London (PCL) rentals are achieving up to £15,000 per week according to luxury estate agents Aston Chase who have recently partnered with uber-lux vacation and short-term rental firm Veeve. Veeve welcomes almost 15,000 HNW overseas visitors per summer, seeking out ‘home from home’ holidays in prime residential London properties.

The summer period is a lucrative period for short-term and vacation rentals with Aston Chase and Veeve focusing on marketing super luxury properties to overseas high-net worth individuals and families, with the majority of people coming from Asia (China, Hong Kong, and Singapore) and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Qatar Kuwait and UAE).

Aston Chase reveal that their Asian and Middle Eastern customers look for properties in St John’s Wood, Regent’s Park and Marylebone with a Regent’s Park Penthouse achieving up to £10,000 p/w, a house on Hamilton Terrace up to £40,000 p/w and house on Avenue Road achieving up to £50,000 p/w.

Aston Chase’s short-term rental customers consistently look for certain criteria when looking to rent a property. These include privacy, luxury and security as well being in close proximity to the World-class shopping and Michelin Star restaurants of the West End of London. The homes should have high quality turn-key finishes. Some Middle Eastern clients prefer apartments over houses due to the conveniences of 24hr Concierge facilities with some super-luxury Central London apartments achieving rents in excess of £35,000 per week.
